Repairing broken roofing tile instead of replacing means that the pieces can be glued together.

A good idea is to have a supply of eight to 10 tiles you can keep in the garage. Use your finger or a chopstick to smear the wood glue lengthwise across any parts of the crack larger than 1 millimetre 0 039 in across. Cracked roof tiles ideally need to be replaced on a like for like basis to maintain the weatherproofing of the roof and its appearance. The solution in this instance is most likely replacement.
